Vecina de Enlace (neighborhood point person) started in 2012 by former FSP’s Director Jackie Douglas.

The Family School Partner Latino Family Connection (FSPLFC) offers information to Hispanic families through trained volunteers, who are former participants in the program. This ensures that families immediately begin to learn how to support their child’s development, to know of community programs and events, and to have an informed neighbor to assist them as needed.
Vecinas de Enlace (Neighborhood Point Persons) build relationships with families in their neighborhood and shares information received from FSP and other Latino community organizations.

In 2019, Collaborative efforts with Su Casa Columbus began work on expanding the Vecina de Enlace program, to meet the increasing needs of our community regarding access and participation, language development, secondary education and career development.
